UAE based fleet technology company FMSi has secured investment from Shorooq and Emirates Growth Fund.

The amount has not been publicly disclosed.

FMSi plans to use the investment to support expansion in Saudi Arabia and potentially pursue acquisitions across the Gulf.

The development provides another signal that fleet technology investment is becoming increasingly global.

North America and Europe remain the industry's largest technology markets.

But rapidly developing logistics markets in the Gulf, Asia and Latin America could become increasingly important growth territories.
